About the Artists
Tamara Barschak is a highly accomplished pianist, singer, and composer who began her training in London and at the Conservatoire de Montreuil in Paris. Her musical journey took her to Rio de Janeiro for three years, immersing herself in Brazilian music before furthering her jazz and Latin studies at Morley College and Goldsmiths University.
Her compositions span stage, film, adverts, animation, and more — including award-winning scores such as The 2.40 to London (Monkey Bread Film Awards, Best Soundtrack).
Jonny Ford is a London-based saxophonist, composer, and arranger, and a rising star of the UK jazz scene. His impressive collaborations include Mica Paris, Heather Small, Cory Wong, NDR Big Band, and more. He has performed at major venues and festivals including Ronnie Scott’s, the Royal Albert Hall, Barbican Centre, EFG London Jazz Festival, and Scarborough Jazz Festival.
Kari Paavola is a seasoned drummer with over three decades of experience, having worked with artists like Womack & Womack and Vanessa Haynes. He has been the first-call drummer for Barschak’s Kaleidoscope Quartet since 2022.
Davide Mantovani is one of the UK’s leading bassists and composers, having worked with Lisa Stansfield, Baaba Maal, and released six albums. His work extends into theatre, dance, cinema, and television.
