Lilac Hour is an intimate radio-style show where we delve into artists’ lives, and, fair warning, they are usually chaotic ones!
In this performance, we get to know Margarida Bartilotti, exploring her childhood, creative ambitions, relationships, comedy, and the wonderfully confusing experience of being in your 20s and pretending to know it all.
As if that was not enough, Margarida also reflects on life as a young adult in a foreign country, trying to build a successful career in musical theatre while performing in her second language.
Expect honesty, humour, stories, and perhaps even some drumming. Lilac Hour is a fun and intimate way to get to know Margarida a little better.
About Margarida Bartilotti
Margarida Bartilotti is a Portuguese actor, musician and songwriter based in London. She graduated from London College of Music with a degree in Acting and is currently completing her master’s in Musical Theatre at Associated Studios.
Alongside her work as a performer, Margarida occasionally drums for emerging indie bands and has recorded and performed with Sunset Habits. In her own music, she is particularly drawn to storytelling and sweet vocals, blending influences from bossa nova to grunge pop. Within musical theatre, she has a love for contemporary and character-driven songs.
Margarida is also currently working towards the release of her first single later this year.
