El Chamuyo Quartet will perform a wide sweep of Argentinian tango, jazz flavored!

The EL CHAMUYO QUARTET will perform a range of tango music from golden era of the 1920s and '30s, through to the tango nuevo masterpieces of Piazzolla as well as original music. All jazz flavored.

The EL CHAMUYO QUARTET is a London based group, blurring the boundaries between tango and jazz in exciting and innovative ways. Not forgetting that this music is rooted in dance, the quartet regularly performs at milongas for tango dancers as well as jazz clubs and concert venues. Most recent performances include POSK Jazz Cafe, Green Note, Jamboree (London), Bracknell Jazz, Guildford Jazz Festival. The quartet will be an official orchestra for the Welsh Tango Nuevo Festival in Swansea
