QOW TRIO return to Toulouse Lautrec with their unique take on the timeless tradition of the classic tenor trio. This multi-generational ensemble is led by the powerhouse drumming of Spike Wells, a true veteran of UK Jazz, known for his extensive work with legends like Stan Getz, Roland Kirk, and Tubby Hayes. Joining him are the young tenor sax titan Riley Stone Lonergan and dynamic bassist Eddie Myer, bringing a fresh perspective to the genre. Together, they deliver an unforgettable evening of hip, swinging modern jazz.

Riley’s passion for jazz improvisation fuels his musical journey, and he brings that energy to QOW Trio. As well as co-leading multiple projects, including the Family Band and Tarel/Lonergan Quartet, Riley leads his own band in London. A seasoned performer, Riley has played around the world, gaining a reputation as one of the most exciting young tenor saxophonists in the scene today.

Spike Wells
Spike Wells' illustrious career spans decades, starting in the swinging 1960s and continuing with some of the greatest names in jazz. From Stan Getz to Roland Kirk, and his long-standing collaborations with Tubby Hayes and Bobby Wellins, Spike remains a central figure in British jazz. His impeccable rhythm and mastery of the drums bring the trio's sound to life.

Eddie Myer
A familiar name on the Brighton music scene, Eddie Myer is a versatile bassist known for his work with Turin Brakes, Son Guarachando, and his own band, Eddie Myer 5tet. Beyond performance, Eddie is also the founder of New Generation Jazz, a project dedicated to nurturing emerging jazz talent and introducing young people to the genre.
