Saxophonist Brandon Allen and guitarist Tom Ollendorff join forces for a dynamic new quartet celebrating the rich lineage of guitar and saxophone interplay in modern jazz.

Inspired by the music of John Scofield, Pat Metheny and Pat Martino, the group explores the lyricism, fire and harmonic depth that have defined these iconic composers and improvisers.

Allen’s warm, full-bodied tenor sound meets Ollendorff’s fluid, melodic guitar style, creating a conversational ensemble dynamic full of intricate lines, expressive phrasing and thoughtful improvisation. Together, they reinterpret classic compositions with a fresh, contemporary edge while honouring the spirit of the originals.
