NYJO Under 18s: Autumn Showcase

Experience the creativity, energy and extraordinary potential of tomorrow’s jazz musicians as the NYJO Under 18s present their Autumn Showcase at Toulouse Lautrec, as part of the EFG London Jazz Festival 2026.

Featuring performances from both the NYJO Under 18s Ensemble and Under 18s Band, this special concert brings together talented musicians aged 11–18 for an inspiring celebration of ensemble playing, improvisation and musical expression.

NYJO’s Under 18s programme offers sustained development for young musicians, but its purpose goes far beyond technical training. Participants are encouraged to experiment, take creative risks and discover their individual voices in a supportive and collaborative environment.

Through regular rehearsals and live performance opportunities, these emerging artists learn how to listen, communicate and connect through music. Expect vibrant ensemble arrangements, adventurous improvisation and the unmistakable excitement of young musicians performing together on stage.
