Australian-born vocalist Karen Lane brings her exceptional quintet to Toulouse Lautrec for an uplifting evening of jazz, swing and Brazilian music.

Performing a selection of songs from her five acclaimed albums, Karen moves effortlessly between graceful swing, intimate ballads, sensuous bossa nova and vibrant samba. Renowned for her elegant phrasing, rhythmic assurance and engaging stage presence, she has a distinctive ability to breathe new life into familiar standards.

Karen’s enduring love of Brazilian music first emerged in English-language interpretations on her album Taste before inspiring her to sing in Portuguese on Passarim. That passion lies at the heart of this performance, bringing warmth, colour and an infectious summer energy to the stage.

She is joined by an outstanding band featuring inventive pianist Chris Bland, award-winning Canadian guitarist Dominic Ashworth, bassist Sam Ingvorsen and distinguished drummer Nic France.
