Casey Whyte Quartet

Modern jazz with Irish roots

Violinist and composer Casey Whyte brings her quartet to Toulouse Lautrec for an evening of original compositions and arrangements, exploring contemporary jazz through the distinctive voice of the violin.

Drawing on her Irish background, Casey weaves folk influences into parts of her repertoire alongside compositions rooted firmly in modern jazz. Expect melodic storytelling, inventive arrangements and room for spontaneous interplay.

The quartet met at the Royal Academy of Music and features Will Inscoe on piano, Zaki Osahn on bass and Cian Burton on drums.
