LesBoum! | Charming French Chanson Anarchy

Get ready for a wonderfully eccentric evening of French chanson as LesBoum! bring their irresistible mix of music, mischief and romance to Toulouse Lautrec.

This Franco-British trio takes the great French songbook and turns it delightfully upside down, reimagining classics by Jacques Brel, Édith Piaf, Serge Gainsbourg, Charles Trenet, Léo Ferré and Jacques Dutronc, alongside original compositions and music from classic French cinema.

Armed with guitar, cello, accordion and three voices, LesBoum! combine musical virtuosity with Monty Python-style humour, theatrical antics and plenty of French charm. One moment heartfelt and romantic, the next gloriously chaotic, their performances celebrate everything wonderful — and wonderfully absurd — about French chanson.

With nearly three decades of performances on both sides of the Channel, including appearances at Crazy Coqs, Brasserie Zédel and Café Bohème, LesBoum! have earned a reputation for their inventive arrangements, infectious energy and unmistakable stage presence.

A little French romance, a touch of British eccentricity and a whole lot of joie de vivre!
